Quick answer
Who We Are
SAL Legalisation Service is an independent document legalisation service in Singapore. We are not the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), a government agency or an embassy. SAL is the government-appointed authority that issues apostilles; our role is to prepare your documents correctly and complete the steps around it, so your document reaches SAL in a form it can verify.
What We Do
for Singapore government and notarised documents
through an appointed Notary Public
for documents used in Singapore
for non-Hague countries
for businesses
when the destination needs another language
How We Work
-
1
We check before SAL does.
Laminated originals, digital documents with QR codes, handwritten names and missing notarisation are the usual reasons for a wasted trip. We look for them first.
-
2
We tell you the route in writing.
Direct SAL apostille, notary first, or embassy after SAL.
-
3
We quote once.
Government fees at cost, our fee separately, one total.
-
4
We keep you updated
until the document is back with you.
Our Standards
Accuracy:
only the steps your destination needs, based on the receiving authority's checklist.
Confidentiality:
your documents and data are used only to complete your order.
Honesty:
if you can do it yourself at the SAL counter, we will say so.
Transparency:
no fee is hidden inside another.
