Mobile Notary & Doorstep Apostille Singapore

When the person who needs to sign can't come to a notary office — an elderly parent, a patient in hospital, or a director who can't leave a meeting — our Notary Public comes to you anywhere in Singapore. Quick answer

Can a Notary Public Come to My Home in Singapore?

Yes. A mobile notary visit brings an appointed Notary Public to your home, office, care home or hospital anywhere in Singapore. The notarial act itself is the same as in an office: the notary verifies your identity with your original NRIC or passport, you sign in front of the notary, and the notary issues the notarial certificate.

If the document is going overseas, it then needs SAL authentication and an apostille (SAL apostille service) — and, for non-Hague countries, embassy attestation in Singapore. We handle that part after the visit, so the signer never has to travel.

What Can Stop a Home or Hospital Signing

No original ID at the visit. The notary must see the signer's original NRIC or passport. A photocopy or a photo on a phone is not enough. Please keep it ready before we arrive.

The signer doesn't understand the document. The notary must be satisfied that the signer understands what they are signing. If the signer is more comfortable in another language, tell us when you book so we can plan for it.

The document was signed before the notary arrived. The signer must sign in front of the notary. Please leave the document unsigned.

Wrong or incomplete document. A power of attorney or declaration with blanks, wrong names or the wrong format can't be fixed at the bedside. Send it to us first and we check it before the visit.

Hospital or care home access. Wards may have visiting rules. Please check visiting hours with the ward before the visit.

Mobile Notary Singapore — FAQs

Can a notary public come to the hospital in Singapore?

Yes. A Notary Public can visit a hospital ward or care home. The patient must be able to understand the document and sign in front of the notary with their original NRIC or passport.

Is a notary home visit as valid as signing at the notary's office?

Yes. The notarial act is the same wherever it happens — identity checked, signature witnessed and a notarial certificate issued — and SAL can authenticate it in the same way.

Do you offer notary home visits in the evening or at weekends?

Tell us your preferred time when you book and we confirm the slot and fee before you pay.

What ID does the signer need for a mobile notary visit?

The original NRIC or passport. The notary cannot rely on a photocopy or a photo of the ID.

Can my elderly parent sign a power of attorney at home?

Yes, if they understand the document and can sign in front of the notary. We check the POA before the visit so it's ready to sign.

How much does a mobile notary cost in Singapore?

The visit fee starts from SGD 180 (+SGD 60 for evenings and weekends). Statutory fees apply on top — SGD 75 for a notarial certificate or SGD 40 for signature witnessing — plus SGD 87.20 if SAL authentication is needed.

Do I need to go to SAL myself after the visit?

No. We take the notarised document to SAL for authentication and apostille and deliver it back to you.

Are you the Singapore Academy of Law?

No. We are an independent Singapore document service working with an appointed Notary Public; we take documents to SAL for you.
